How to prepare for CDS

If you have searched how to prepare for CDS then i do not think, it needs an introduction. I shall spare the niceties and jump strait to the point.

CDS is a tough exam and you have to prepare with all the efforts. After all the decision, thinking and doubting my abilities, I have also applied for exam,So i am gonna be nice person and share my strategy.

Eight Hours a Day (EHD):

EHD is not a disease but According to study many UPSC Aspirant have shown the symptom of studying for eight hours a day.I am kidding. I have heard many people saying that if you want to give an exam of this kind then study for eight at least. At least just a wrongly used word. I mean how can someone study this much. Even wikiHow does not know the answer, jokes apart I am starting now, just 2 months before the actual exam so if you are following my path then yeah we have to invest a good eight hours.

What i have planned is, I will study 3 hours General Science Part 1 which include subjects like History, Geography, Political, Economics and other non- physical science.

Part 2 of the General Science which holds subject such as Physics,Chemistry and Biology, I will study them for 2 hours in a day.

English is the another section of the exam.English is the easiest part but critical at the same time. So, i will give it 2 hours in day but in that 2 hours the first hour i will read a book and then i will solve English questions papers.

Previous Years Question Papers UPSC and CDS:

Yeah you heard it right, even UPSC paper solving. As CDS has multiple choice question where as other IPS and such exams has question and answers type of pattern. If you solve these type of question you can learn other details about the topics and of course solve CDS previous years paper.

Read and solve:

To prepare for the other section of the exam that is English we have to Practice and learn the science of grammar. So, to prepare for English read novels. Any kind of it will help and to the science of grammar to go back to the basic. Because it is important, learn bit of it and yeah the last thing is practice from the previous years papers.
