Education is process of learning, believe it or not, we are still uneducated, you may have understood the theory of quantum physics, the theory of greatest happiness of greatest number, you may be a master in sin cos theta or you may have a double doctorate in literature but how many of us understood the meaning and purpose of saving the mother earth??
What is the use of that education which taught you the function of the world, if you can not save the same world
All of us has a dream which we want to fulfill, some people want to become a doctor or engineer or a rapper, fashion designer, journalist, IAS officer, lawyer and some want to establish their own company. To achieve these goals of ours we work hard day-in and day-out but why we are putting so much of time and handwork on something which is not gonna be in the future.
The world is facing a water scarcity crisis, the quality of drinking water is worsening day by day upon that the level of water in the ocean is increasing drastically. People of Cape Town faced "Day Zero" or "Zero Water Day", according to many reports Pakistan is also facing a water crisis and by the end of 2020 Indian states will have the same faith.
The day is not far when this free water will have a bigger price tag than a Gucci perfume, the day is not far when we will have the perfect job but more then half of the salary will be used to buy a bottle of water.
Are we really educated?
The amazon forest fire which was an unfortunate event and was brought under control by nature itself neither of us nor the government was able to do anything, it was huge, unforeseen and was a natural disaster. This was not the disaster but natural lesson, a revolt again human action, which is destroying nature day by day.
But how humans are responsible for such natural events??
The rise in temperature is the result of Carbon dioxide, human inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, this carbon dioxide is taken by the trees and the trees exhale oxygen. So, because of deforestation, greenhouse gas and high population pressure on the environment it is causing the rise in temperature, this rise in temperature is leading to the elimination of freshwater, and the heat in the temperature is causing a fire in the forest.
The fire in Australia is also because of the same reason, animals are dying, some are being rescued but this not the story of just a few countries.
There have been many such incidents in India itself, the fire in Uttarakhand, Banidur fire in 2019 are just a few examples. The glaciers which are the source of water in rivers of India is melting. That has caused floods in Kerala, Mumbai, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and in many states.
The day is not far when some states of India will be burning, some will be drowning in water and some will have no water. Its an irony
We all know what we should do, the least we can do is to save water. I feel its too late to plant trees but we should at least try our level best. The world does not need environment activist it needs people who are willing to put 1 % of there effort to save the mother earth. 1% of your effort and 1% of others will one day make it 100%.
Remember Earth is the only planet where life exists, it is the only place you and I can service, create awareness by realizing the problem and by making others realize the same. Educate yourself and others .
